"At the Royal Borough of Greenwich, we have worked in partnership with FSLI for the past 20 years. They consistently deliver high quality CPD to our practitioners. As the first borough in London to develop a Forest School Leader training programme, we are extremely proud to work in collaboration with FSLI."

"Thank you to Chris and Robbie for providing three excellent online sessions and sharng your extensive knowledge and expertise with us. All the sessions were informative and interesting. The session planning and pre delivery was smooth and I was kept well informed of the process at each stage. The sessions were hugely helpful in building delegates confidence in engaging with the outdoor environment and explaining the many benefits this brings to health and well-being. The feedback we received has been incredibly positive."

"The Forest School Learning Initiative are amazing! Over twenty years ago, they worked with our school to plan, plant and nurture our Forest School area - sharing their knowledge and expertise with staff. Now they run sessions for all age groups, across our primary school, developing our school values and our inclusive curriculum. The children learn important life skills and benefit from learning in nature. Impact evidenced includes: improved concentration, team work, independence, confidence, perseverance, sharing, caring and kindness. We are privileged to continue this collaboration, preventing 'nature poverty' in an urban area. FSLI also run training sessions and are immersed in child- centred pedagogy. They are highly recommended!"

"The Early Years Alliance has worked with the Forest School Learning Initiative over many years to share the benefits of outdoor learning for children in the early years. We know that regular access to Forest School sessions led by qualified leaders has a huge impact on children's learning and development, and instils a love of the natural environment that will stay with them for life."

"I've known of and worked with FSLI since at least 2012 and I've been on both sides. I've trained with them as a level 3 leader and hosted them as training providers at the Park I manage. Chris, Robbie and all the staff at FSLI are fantastic, helpful and approachable. They're extremely supportive and committed and they're with you every step of the way. Their courses and their approach has had a gigantic and beneficial impact on me, the park and the young people I work with. Thank you FSLI, highly recommended and 5 stars!"

"Forest School Learning Initiative have provided excellent Forest School sessions for many years. The children thoroughly enjoy the activities and it is such a valuable part of their education. These sessions enable the local community to be involved too as the children go home full of enthusiasm and tell their families what they have been doing!"
Mark Jackson - Head Teacher
Willersey Church of England Primary School
"Our Pre-School rooms absolutely love it when Chris comes to do forest school on a Thursday. It's their favourite time of the week! The children have learnt so many new skills such as sawing, peeling and whitling which has developed their gross motor skills. Children who are usually quite shy come out of their shell when FSLI come in and have grown in confidence tremendously throughout the time they spend in forest school.
FSLI provide and plan a variety of fantastic activities and opportunities for the children to explore and use their imagination and the staff have been loving it just as much as them."

"FSLI lessons have been fantastic! They have provided the children with fun, engaging ways to develop a range of skills and a love of learning and exploration. It's been a wonderful opportunity for our children to gain confidence and work together, whilst developing an appreciation of nature and our school outdoor environment. Highly recommended - our children always fondly recall their forest school lessons."

"Just qualified as a Forest School Leader with the brilliant FSLI team. Robbie, our instructor was fabulous; delivering the course in a fun and knowledgeable way. The support during the online modules from the FSLI team was fantastic too, everyone replied so quickly to any queries. "I wholeheartedly recommend FSLI, especially Chris, who has been so amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble & she is so supportive. I have learnt so many valuable fun skills through the 6 face to face days, I can not wait to implement them in my own forest school (The children will love it).
I can honestly say it has been the best training I have ever done & I'm sad it's over. A huge thank you to all at FSLI & to Chris."
