Opinel Penknife
These Number 6 Opinel Penknives are the ones FSLI recommend to use with your children as they can fold out only for use, the handles are correct size for grip for children, and are blades are large enough for whittling. FSLI recommend to used these knives from aged Key Stage 2 or upwards so they have the strength to grip and responsible to deal with the sharp tool.
ALWAYS START ALL CHILDREN OFF WITH PEELERS THEN PROGRESS TO PENKNIVES!
